About Toncia Energy Consulting and Professional Services Ltd
A nation’s greatest assets are its human and natural resources. Human resources through knowledge based capacity building are the cornerstone for effective management and utilization of natural resources. Meaningful investment and harvesting of research potential, application and effective utilization of knowledge from many disciplinary sectors and adequate training of middle-level manpower to create a potent labor force can enhance the capacity to attain Millennium Development Goals. Training programs as well as those focused on entrepreneurship development and advances in technology enhancement are the cornerstone for economic growth and transformation through critical thinking, motivation and innovation.
For effective utilization of its natural resources, Nigeria spends millions of dollars annually to train some of its indigenous manpower oversea. Providing the same service in Nigeria can reduce the cost of the oversea training. Hence, Toncia Energy Consulting and Professional Services Ltd strives to fill this gap of service.
Toncia Energy Consulting and Professional Services Ltd is an indigenous company that focuses on upstream and downstream technology acquisition, training of personnel, research and consultancies on technological advances in oil/gas and related industries and agencies.
Toncia Energy Consulting and Professional Services Ltd brings technical and non-technical expertise, cutting edge innovation and professionalism to the energy and related industries, private and government agencies in the African Sub-Sahara.

Well Reservoir Management Strategies: Optimum Life Cycle Management of Petroleum Assets
Course Overview
This 2-day interactive workshop will provide participants with the knowledge to make correct decisions for optimum life cycle management of petroleum assets. It will equip participants with the principles, processes and tools drawn from industry best practices, for proper well and reservoir surveillance, as well as integrated production system optimization. The workshop scope will also cover the workflow for key technical reviews to identify and generate additional oil and gas production opportunities. The principles and multidisciplinary approach for sound well and reservoir management will be presented with emphasis on practical applications.
Well and Reservoir Management
Well and reservoir management is a dynamic process aimed at maximizing production performance of petroleum assets. It consists of processes and integrated, multidisciplinary activities, including the systematic application of integrated, multidisciplinary technologies. A key component for successful wells and reservoir management is the close interaction and synergy across technical, operating, and management functions.

Petroleum Resource Volume and Reserves Evaluation and Reporting
Course Overview:
This is a 3-day course designed to provide an understanding of the underlying processes for petroleum resource assessments, estimation methodologies and reporting requirements based on SPE’s Petroleum Resource Management System (PRMS). Definitions and classifications of reserves and resources will be discussed, including comparison of guidelines by SPE/WPC/AAPG/SPEE/SEG and various regulatory bodies for applications of these definitions.
Both deterministic and probabilistic assessment approaches are examined and their appropriateness for evaluation of resources and reserves at different stages of field life. Reporting standards for internal report and key elements for regulatory reports are be discussed. Hands on exercises are used to demonstrate and reinforce cross-discipline integration involved in assuring quality and robustness of resource and reserves estimation.
Course Outline:

Leadership Challenges and Management of Privatization
Empirical evidence has indicated that privatization is no longer a local process rather a global phenomenon. It is also evident that successful privatization process requires mechanisms that give private investors incentives and comfort, that create and sustain the policies and regulatory institutions that make governments competent and honest partners with private partners, and that protect consumers, particularly the most disadvantaged, from abuse. It is critical and essential, that in this globally changing technology driven economy, for managers that are involved in privatization to be well grounded and knowledgeable in planning and implementation of privatization process.
This course introduces the participants to privatization process and it then considers the unresolved issues in privatization policy and management. It concludes with cases studies that enable the participant to have a hands on experience on the processes.
